Browsing demonstrates the scope and depth of JSTOR's collections. Users can browse by one of these areas:
Browsing can retrieve so many items that the researcher may wish to perform a more precise advanced search. In an advanced search one can enter search terms and limit results by checking the appropriate box(es) to particular geographical location(s) and classification(s). It is also possible to search within the results of a "browsed" search to reduce the number of hits.
