Journals and magazines are a great way of keeping up-to-date with contemporary theory and practice. All the library print journals are arranged on our shelves alphabetically by title, with the latest issues found in the first reading room in the library (row 22). Just ask at the issue desk for back issues.
InVisible Culture: An Electronic Journal for Visual Culture (IVC) is a student run interdisciplinary journal published online twice a year in an open access format. Through peer reviewed articles, creative works, and reviews of books, films, and exhibitions, our issues explore changing themes in visual culture
The Art History Archive is an invaluable resource for getting an understadning of any art movement. Their mission statement continues:
"This archive is being compiled to serve as a library of information about different artistic movements, art groups and specific artists. Its purpose is to educate people about the different movements and show people that there are other movements worth looking at, and specific artists that users may never have heard of."
