This guide is a break down of what the library can offer and how we can help you be your best (student) self!

Refine your Search!

The handiest way to browse our Ebooks is to use the search facets. You can refine your search to only show Ebooks by selecting the 'ebooks' option in the format section.

 


Proquest Ebook Central

Ebook Central makes it easy to manage discovery, selection, acquisition, administration, and reporting all in one place – and to give students, faculty and researchers seamless and immediate access to the ebooks they need.

Links will bring you to the ProQuest e-book central website where you can browse, read and download copies, with Adobe Digital Editions software.

You need Adobe Digital Editions to download pdfs of Ebooks. The download is very quick and easy. Click done with this step when you have downloaded it. You only need to do this step once.

The Library has a selective collection of e-books. You can search the catalogue at the search bar below under keyword, title or author. The images above are sample from our Ebook collection!

How to Access Ebooks

  1. You first must sign into your NCAD Library account. 
  2. Sign in with your NCAD student number and your on campus wifi password. This is the same as your My NCAD password. These are provided by IT
  3. Download the eBook. Click on your downloads and open the file. It will then be upload to Adobe Digital Editions

  4. You can check the table of contents with this icon and use the search bar in the top right to find certain sections of interest.

  5. You can see the other ebooks you have taken out in your library. eBooks that have reached the end of their loan period will be marked as expired.
